About Us

Topgun Trackcars started out as basically four friends with a like minded passion for driving cars fast at trackdays. The four friends consist of John, Martin, Nigel and Paul.

It all started with Nigel and Martin acquiring a BMW E30 320i four door back in 2005, as you will agree probably not the fastest of cars but with a few tweaks here and there it some became apparent that out and out power was not always needed as the car was soon holding it's own with much quicker cars.

Once we had all been bitten by the trackday bug other cars started to appear, John started with a BMW E30 325i four door which he modified before breaking the engine, he then progressed to a BMW E30 325i two door before finally settling on the 325i Sport he is currently running. Martin decided on a BMW E30 325i four door (the same car he still drives today albeit upgraded beyond all recognition). Nigel sold the original car and decided on a BMW E30 320i automatic two door, which soon became a 325i manual. Paul decided on a BMW 325i two door that John bought before settling on the 325i Sport.

As you may have noticed there is a pattern emerging we all like BMW E30's and John is not very good at making a decision. The BMW decision was easy Nigel has a BMW background, we all run road going BMW's and the E30 technology is a lot less technical than the later versions.

In 2009 we have been joined by Rob who runs a limited edition track prepared Seat Cordoba and for 2010 we will be joined by Adrian who is currently running a track prepared Vauxhall Corsa and Paul & Colin who are running an E36 328i coupe.

With regards to trackdays we have completed several with Javelin Trackdays at Elvington and Cadwell Park and for the last two years we have supported the BMW Club GB trackdays organised by Nick Wright at Cadwell Park, Croft, Donnington and Oulton Park.
